Lewis & Clark Recreation Area is the second most
visited state park in South Dakota. It is home to
Lewis & Clark Lake and adjacent to Gavin’s Point
Dam and the Missouri River. It lives next door to
Lake Yankton and just 6 miles west of the City of
Yankton. A park entrance license is required to use
the area; $8/day or $36 for an annual permit.
