Historically, the Grand Army of the
Republic (G.A.R.) built the hall in
1887 as the Phil Kearney Post No. 7,
a meeting place for Union veterans
and their auxiliary. Call for more
information, gallery exhibits, special
events and rentals. Open M-F from

in 1957 as part of the Pick-Sloan
Plan. The dam and power plant are
operated by the U.S. Army Corps
of Engineers. Tour the power plant
