Experience a warm welcome to Northeast
Nebraska and Southeast South Dakota as you
observe a panoramic view of the Missouri River
Valley and Yankton. Experience a step back in
time as you re-discover history on our 1.5 mile
nature birding trail or read the historical markers
about Lewis and Clark and Pan American
Highway 81. The Center offers tourists free
information, complimentary coffee, gift shop and
displays featuring local businesses and artists.
Open Memorial Day through Labor Day daily
from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Winter hours are Monday Saturday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Sunday from
Noon – 4 p.m.

Located on top of scenic Calumet Bluff, the Lewis & Clark Visitor Center
overlooks the Missouri River and Lewis and Clark Lake. Operated by the

browse through materials. The Visitor Center is also home to the Yankton
