Sites & Attractions NFAA Easton Yankton Archery Center 7 800 Archery Lane (605) 260-9282 www.neyac.org The NFAA Easton Yankton Archery Center is home to the National Field Archery Association and located on East Hwy. 50, adjacent to the Best Western Kelly Inn. Known as the largest archery center in the world, this 100 acre facility offers ranges for all 4 disciplines of archery: indoor target, outdoor target, 3D and field. The facility caters to everyone, from the beginning archer to the elite competitor. For the daily $10 rate, you can bring in your own equipment or the beginner can use our equipment and receive basic safety instruction. Indoor range open year round Monday - Friday 9am – 9pm, Saturday 10am – 7pm, Sunday 12pm – 7pm. Rentals and group lessons available with appointment. Pierre Dorian’s Marker W. 2nd Street & Riverside Drive Pierre Dorian was the first white settler in the Yankton area. He lived among the Yankton Sioux at the time that Lewis and Clark passed through in 1804. Lewis and Clark convinced Dorian to accompany them on their 26 – Yankton, South Dakota expedition and to serve as an Indian interpreter. Dorian later returned to the Yankton area. His grave was located by a local historian and a memorial marker dedicated in 2002. Pierson Ranch Day Use Area 12 (Lake Yankton Area) (605) 668-2985 A 9-hole disc golf course is located at the Pierson Ranch Day Use Area. Frisbees are available for checkout at the Pierson Ranch entrance booth. Park entrance license required, $6/day or $30 for an annual permit, and scorecards are available at the first tee. Riverside Park Amphitheatre 7 Riverside Park (605) 668-5231 The Riverside Park Amphitheatre is available for events throughout the year. Concerts in the Park are held every Tuesday at 8 p.m. during June, July and August. Each week a different band performs an outdoor concert. Bands come from outside Yankton, as well as local groups. No admission. The amphitheatre is also available for private functions, to make reservations contact the Parks and Recreation Department.
